Discover SODA

Exactly, soda! I mean baking soda. Since childhood we've been told (at least where I grew up) soda gargle will treat sourthroat. Moms put soda in pastry. Besides soda was used to absorb odor in fridge and so much more.
Recently I realized baking soda is a one unique remedy for many things. For instance (I bet you never knew), soda is used on burn. Simply mix it with cold water and apply on burn. Keep doing till it brings relief. Same applies to sunburn. Let's talk about usage of soda for health and beauty.
Soda scrub. The best way so far to clean face. Mix soda and salt 1:1 and gently scrub face (especially t-zone) while taking a shower, then rinse. You just need to touch your face to feel the difference. It cleans pores and dead skin. The smoothness and purity it brings compares to no other scrub product. Trust me, I used so many from Lush to L'oreal.
Acne treatment. Tiny pimples screw your look, your makeup, even your day. Before going to bed take a pinch of soda, add few drops of water to make a paste so that soda is still half-dry. Apply generously on the pimple. By morning redness and infection will be gone. Although the area becomes dry, it's easily recovered with moisturizing creme. Same applies to insect bites.
Soda bath helps to relax, treats skin problems and prevents obesity. Soda in bath together with favorite essential oil can substitude sea salt. Add 200g soda to warm water and few drops of oil for relaxation. Voila!
Facial mask to moist your skin. Couldn't be easier. Simply mix some soda and extra virgin olive oil. Apply on face (excluding the area around eyes and mouth) and keep 15-20 min. Rinse with warm water.
For nails and cuticles. I love using baking soda as a stain remover. Baking soda removes stains and exfoliates cuticles! To make the paste, mix enough water and baking to create a  paste. Let the paste sit on my nails for about 10 minutes then rinse with warm water.

Soda tricks are endless and very helpful. These are just some of them. Enjoy the benefits :)

Loss of appetite due to stress

Many women around the world would give anything to be in our shoes - to loose appetite and start rapidly losing weight. But I personally know how terrible it feels like. You start getting thinner and thinner, none of your clothes fit you, you cannot look at yourself in the mirror, find yourself ugly, feel shy and frustrated and furthermore you may have badbreath and other health problems, just like a fuel to the fire.

As I am quite an emotional person, stress is the first reason I may stop eating AT ALL whereas many people loose control with eating! For example, the other day I went through a terrible incident, so I havent eaten anything except for vegetable (pepper and cucumber) for two days. I knew it will lead to scary results and didnot want to go through it again. So I started my own plan against appetite loss because of stress.

First of all, you need to calm down! I know it is hard when you have problems - whether at work or in life. But take a minute to appreciate granted things in your life - your health, beloved ones, carrier, education, and even a good weather. Take a walk or a shower. If this doesn't help, take a pill to be quiet.

After freshenning up think of something you would eat right now. Do not refuse anything to yourself! Neither a salad, nor a junk food. Praise your stomache for wanting at least something. This is your chance to slowly start eating. Take it slow. Eat less but food rich in calories, like nuts, pie, meat, bread, etc.

Everyday add portions. Breathe fresh air. Provide yourself a good night sleep. Spend more time with friends to get distracted. Always have a pack of cookies or nuts in your pocket or draw. Whenever you feel tiny bit hungry - help yourself. Eat cold food if the smell of hot food makes you sick.

Most of all remember and keep telling yourself - do not let whatever happened take away your health. You can't erase what has happened, but you still can protect your health!
