Happy birthday, Rouge! Loubs as a work of art

Dear readers,

Happily The Go Rouge blog turned one year yesterday. It all started from a single idea of an unemployed girl a year ago to share contemporary, easy, stylish and charming ways of living life. I am happy to be part of your life from time to time and reach over 4000 views during a year.

Birthday edition of Go Rouge is about stunning work of art by Peter Lipman who filmed autumn collection of Christian Louboutin shoes and bags. The Rubens styled masterpieces do not need any description. Some of the places shoes in a vase full of fruits or flowers, some plays them as wine glass, and others throw Loubs into the wild among dogs.

Please enjoy the unforgetable advert campaign for Christian Louboutin FW'13 by Peter Lipman.

Airports looks

Soon the Go Rouge travels to UK for new summer adventures, shopping, blog materials and loads of fun. Tickets are booked. Bags are packed. Everything is almost ready except for... airport outfit. This is the most common girls' travelling problem. What to wear to feel comfy, look nice and be practical?

Sometimes it depends on type of your travel (business, holiday, etc). But one good unique advice for each airport outfit - look for comfort first. Most airports in the world are immense and sometimes you have to walk through the airport from on corner to another. Trust me, your high heels or tight skirt will do you no good.

Still, looking pretty will give you confidence. Therefore do not forget about the looks either. Be fresh, use few makeup (powder, blush, mascara and lipstick are enough), do not overload yourself with accessories or jewelry (hats and caps are mostly useless, unless its cold). When it comes to clothes - the most common, plain, comfortable and nice looking things to wear are:

1) Shirt (T-shirt, top, blouse)
2) JEANS! for bottom (viva la jeans!), leggins, joggers
3) A jacket if needed (knitted, jeans, leather or smth warmer if needed). Knitted jackets are always nice. You may tie it around waist if useless or fold and put into your bag.
4) Ballet shoes, Nikes, anything flat on feet. YOU WILL WALK, and most probably you will walk a lot, especially if you are travelling back home. For registration, tax free, duty free shopping, etc. Pity your feet and speed up by wearing comfy shoes. Also keep your feet dry, you will have to spend much time in shoes. Take an extra pair of socks in bag.

sHoEs... not only ladies go crazy about

The ones that he wore. Likey?

The other day I caught myself staring at my bf's shoes. "You like them?" - he asked. Those shiny, very classic loafers that felt like 80's are back. "Not really" - came out of my mouth unwillingly. Did I sound too straightforward? But isn't it the essence of relationship - honesty :)?
He had those classic black intrecciato woven Bottega Veneta loafers of recent collection which he liked veeeery much. It made me think - what are men's shoes about? With women's shoes it's very clear - they should be sexy, make legs look slender, heels, toes, platform (and bunch of other tricks). And men's shoes?
So I started my little research in men's shoes world. I realized moccasins are my favorite type of shoes to see on a man. Plus they are funny and comfortable to wear. So, darling, if you are reading this - please take that into account.
Would gladly like these ones instead. Bottega Veneta.
Here I found some very stylish shoes of recent haute couture collections. Guys, try these (not exactly these, but kind of) if you want to draw her attention!

Le Silla shoes

Despite being a huge bling fan I am also very much into shoes. As of my entire life Loubs has been an ultimate shoes desire for me. When I saw the bridal collection of Louboutin with gem stones for the first time I totally lost my mind. But this one is about another shoes brand, more available price-wise, but as unique as almost Loubs are.
Le Silla is an italian fashion shoe brand, utterly elegant. For me Le Silla has always been unique platform shoes (later I've noticed the same platform style on Charlotte Olympia). For those who did not know - Le Silla has a shop in Baku, Azerbaijan on U. Hajibeyov str. next to Patrizia Pepe.
No doubt - the jeweled ones are exceptionally expensive. But you can stop by the shop to check out new shoes collection (and cute bags). Or check out the web-site. Definitely adorable shoes.
