Soon the Go Rouge travels to UK for new summer adventures, shopping, blog materials and loads of fun. Tickets are booked. Bags are packed. Everything is almost ready except for... airport outfit. This is the most common girls' travelling problem. What to wear to feel comfy, look nice and be practical? 

Sometimes it depends on type of your travel (business, holiday, etc). But one good unique advice for each airport outfit - look for comfort first. Most airports in the world are immense and sometimes you have to walk through the airport from on corner to another. Trust me, your high heels or tight skirt will do you no good. 

Still, looking pretty will give you confidence. Therefore do not forget about the looks either. Be fresh, use few makeup (powder, blush, mascara and lipstick are enough), do not overload yourself with accessories or jewelry (hats and caps are mostly useless, unless its cold). When it comes to clothes - the most common, plain, comfortable and nice looking things to wear are:

1) Shirt (T-shirt, top, blouse)

2) JEANS! for bottom (viva la jeans!), leggins, joggers

3) A jacket if needed (knitted, jeans, leather or smth warmer if needed). Knitted jackets are always nice. You may tie it around waist if useless or fold and put into your bag.

4) Ballet shoes, Nikes, anything flat on feet. YOU WILL WALK, and most probably you will walk a lot, especially if you are travelling back home. For registration, tax free, duty free shopping, etc. Pity your feet and speed up by wearing comfy shoes. Also keep your feet dry, you will have to spend much time in shoes. Take an extra pair of socks in bag.

Discover SODA

Exactly, soda! I mean baking soda. Since childhood we've been told (at least where I grew up) soda gargle will treat sourthroat. Moms put soda in pastry. Besides soda was used to absorb odor in fridge and so much more.
Recently I realized baking soda is a one unique remedy for many things. For instance (I bet you never knew), soda is used on burn. Simply mix it with cold water and apply on burn. Keep doing till it brings relief. Same applies to sunburn. Let's talk about usage of soda for health and beauty.
Soda scrub. The best way so far to clean face. Mix soda and salt 1:1 and gently scrub face (especially t-zone) while taking a shower, then rinse. You just need to touch your face to feel the difference. It cleans pores and dead skin. The smoothness and purity it brings compares to no other scrub product. Trust me, I used so many from Lush to L'oreal.
Acne treatment. Tiny pimples screw your look, your makeup, even your day. Before going to bed take a pinch of soda, add few drops of water to make a paste so that soda is still half-dry. Apply generously on the pimple. By morning redness and infection will be gone. Although the area becomes dry, it's easily recovered with moisturizing creme. Same applies to insect bites.
Soda bath helps to relax, treats skin problems and prevents obesity. Soda in bath together with favorite essential oil can substitude sea salt. Add 200g soda to warm water and few drops of oil for relaxation. Voila!
Facial mask to moist your skin. Couldn't be easier. Simply mix some soda and extra virgin olive oil. Apply on face (excluding the area around eyes and mouth) and keep 15-20 min. Rinse with warm water.
For nails and cuticles. I love using baking soda as a stain remover. Baking soda removes stains and exfoliates cuticles! To make the paste, mix enough water and baking to create a  paste. Let the paste sit on my nails for about 10 minutes then rinse with warm water.

Parure powder by Guerlain

Women should know that there is a perfect powder for all types of skin. It's Parure by Guerlain. And even if you never used powder before, you will totally change your opinion on powders upon using Parure.
Let me start by saying this is not cheap. It was about 60 AZN in Ideal store in Baku, Azerbaijan. However I bought it for 45EU in Duty Free. It's not the first time I'm buying Parure. I just decided to try the rest of the powders like Dior, Lancome, Inglot and realized how precious Parure is for my skin.
It contains crystal pearls, has tiny shiny particles, smells like rose and feels very comfy on skin. Makes it look smooth and good toned. However it doesn't come in many colors (only 4 if I'm not mistaken). I am using number 03 Beige parfait.
Also refills are available in stores for 43 AZN or on strawberry.net for 40$.
P.S. The blush is applied perfectly good on that powder. Just try.

Eyeliner Gel

Getting ready for my new year outfit and look I pay special attention to the makeup. So I leave classic liquid eyeliner for something new - Fluidline eyeliner gel by MAC.
Eyeliner gels are not new, but this is the first time I tried it. I must say, if you are a bad painter - forget about it. Still it has pros - it is lasting, rich and light. Alongside with the liner I bought a liner brush as well by MAC number 263 which is perfect for painting "wings".
